Story

Originally the local office of Lone Star Gas for the community, the City of Grand Prairie purchased and repaired and rehabilitated the abandoned building for new offices of the City’s Housing and Neighborhood Services and a component of the new municipal complex and adjacent to the recently completed Frank W. Robertson Municipal Courts Building.

Included in hte project improvements are a new facade, entrance, and roof. New interiors, restrooms, building environmental systems, offices, and customer service area. New landscaping, and parking.

The original iconic Lone Star neon gas flame was maintained, cleaned, and made operational.
